3. Data Sharing
3.1 With Your Friends
When you share a goal with friends, they can see:
- Goal title and description (if you choose to share)
- Todo items you've shared
- Your progress on shared goals
- Your display name and profile picture
Your goals are private by default. You control what you share and with whom.
3.2 Goal Copying Feature
When you share a goal with friends, they have the ability to copy your goal and create their own version. When a friend copies your shared goal:
- The copied goal becomes their own private goal (not shared back to you)
- They can customize the goal title, description, dates, and todos
- Progress and completion data are reset - they start fresh
- You are not notified when someone copies your goal (to prevent notification spam)
- The copied goal is independent from your original goal
By sharing a goal, you acknowledge that friends may copy it. If you do not want your goals to be copied, you can choose not to share them or adjust your sharing settings.
3.3 With Service Providers
We use the following third-party services:
- Firebase (Google) - For backend services, authentication, and data storage
- Firebase Analytics - For app usage analytics (anonymized)
- Firebase Crashlytics - For error tracking and app stability
All service providers are bound by confidentiality agreements and privacy policies.
